So consider signing up for a class or joining a group that’s devoted to something fun and healthy. Aside from helping you get rid of stress, you can get a good workout and make new friends.

Chronic stress usually takes a long time to develop, which is why it can be so hard to overcome. But, you should also feel confident because you can re-program your mind to refuse to be affected so much. You can’t get rid of all your stress at once, so be satisfied with gradually learning to let go of it.
